Yes this is contrary to most of the results written at other blogs, but instead of considering the artificial benchmarks that are usually used, do real world testing. If you like portability and have the money you might love this drive. It has mixed performance but probably adequate for most people. Nice that it has a built-in RAID.
Like most things in life you get what you pay for. Still I have wondered if getting a cheap SSD would be a worthwhile replacement if my HD ever fails. I hope they have some with adapters for an older ATA MacBook.
