Error message 503 Service Unavailable when stumbling by topic. I ran into this error since the new update to SU. So is anyone else receiving this? Apparently this has been an issue for the past few years. No clear solution. Extensions to browsers, and other browsers have the same issue.

Steve Krawcke has the answer.

on your mac to find out what is issuing you the IP via DHCP open terminal and issue this command

ipconfig getpacket en0 (or use what ever your active interface is)

look for the line server_identifier

that should be the IP of your DHCP server.

Mail Send Failed – “Milter rejected…: Apple Support Communities. Interesting. The work arounds seem to be two things:

  1. Turn off SSL
  2. Change from smtp.mac.com on part: 587 to port 25.
  3. Get another email provider

There are many angry users on this thread. I would be angry too if I were paying for email. That is really poor customer service to do this and not communicate it with your user base. Thanks GuatamalaDoc!

Hi Everyone!

I’m just on the phone with Apple! They were very helpful!

(1) Uncheck SSL for Incoming and Outgoing Servers

(2) Change Incoming Port Server to 110

(3) Set Outgoing Port to Default

I’m really upset with Yahoo – That was VERY dirty! They stopped support Incoming Sockets – Not cool!

Hello readers, today I am starting to move to a self-hosted solution. Why? Because I was approached to have a banner ad and I would like to explore what self-hosting is like. So expect to see more articles about plug-ins and features for self-hosted WP sites.

It looks like there is an upgrade to WP today. There is a writing helper and Request feedback option below my new post. I wonder if this means that they are working towards optimizing SEO?
