Lion hides your Library folder.  You can get to it via the Finder Go menu, Go To Folder, and

The logo for Apple Computer, now Apple Inc.. T...

entering ~/Library or ~/Library/Preferences depending on where you want to go.

As for the dock thing, I realize you have a new system, but have you installed any third party additions at this point?  Or is this still a “pristine”, as-shipped version of Lion?

The plist you may want to remove is,

~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.dock.plist

i.e., that plist in your home directory Preferences.  Log out and back in after you remove that plist.

OSX Lion dont work with my Internet…: Apple Support Communities. Interesting that companies don’t make it easier to make their products work. I would avoid Olicard hardware just because of the poor support. Thanks robertobb.

I have the official drivers of Olicard 145 for OSX LION!!!!!!!!! They work fine!!!!

How can I permanently remove Norton AV…: Apple Support Communities. Thanks macjack. It is better to avoid Norton stuff on the Mac. They have had a terrible reputation for years for things like this.

Good ‘ol Norton!

If you choose to show invisibles. The quickest way is to Launch /Applications/Utilities/Terminal.app and copy/paste this command at the flashing cursorPress Return

defaults write com.apple.Finder AppleShowAllFiles YES

Press Return

Look for norton files on the top level of your hard drive.

To turn off invisibles

defaults write com.apple.Finder AppleShowAllFiles No

Press Return

edit: Also look in /Library

and in /System/Library/LaunchDaemons
