Apparently it was mens desires and selections that caused women to have certain characteristics. Interestingly, this has changed in modern times, so the blonde is not as desirable for a relationship that it once was.

I don’t see this any different from how society tells us we should view women. If our women are thin, why not our technology? Is more gained or lost in wanting to be thin? In many ways being thin can work against women such as heavier women surviving surgeries better. Perhaps we need to not apply such broad brushstrokes of want in our lives.
