Rebuild the Outlook for Mac 2011 database to resolve problems. I had a friend who had this problem and his Option key wasn’t working to hold when you would start Outlook. So this article mentions another way to do this. Nice work!

Using BCC to email people in bulk? Shame on you. – Entrepreneur. Instead of trying to shoehorn Outlook or Entourage into doing something it’s not great at, read the article above. It gives some reasons why this is a dangerous practice. It also is a silly one. For less than 2,000 people MailChimp does it for free. What a deal!

It was for Hsoi. Here is what I suggested in his comments:

Have you tried rebuilding your email database? This has fixed the sluggish problems that I have had in the past with Entourage and people who have thousands of messages. Also, Entourage doesn’t seem to like thousands of messages in a folder, so if you keep the totals less than 2000 msg per folder it seems to perform much faster.

Here is the link to the Microsoft KB on how to fix rebuild the database. It’s very easy and generally safe.

Outlook 2010 & Acrobat 9 Don't Play Well Together (Yet) An early adopter of the beta version of Office 2010 alerted me to a problem with Acrobat 9.  Like me, she prefers to use Acrobat to archive e-mail and e-mail attachments.  Unfortunately, there are known issues with Acrobat 9 and Outlook 2010: The Acrobat PDFMaker toolbar (also known as the Acrobat ribbon) does not work as expected in Office 2010 applications. Customers with Acrobat 9.3 and higher cannot see the Acrobat ribbon in Office 2010 appli … Read More
