Syncany – Open-source file synchronization and filesharing application. This is interesting. If you like Dropbox and JungleDisk and have a Linux or Windows system you might like this software. They say they have a Mac version, but said that is the last priority. Still seems like a comparison between all these services is in order.

Who uses RMVB files? Wouldn’t it be easier to just convert them?

VLC is always my first choice since I switched to MAC. VLC is good enough most of the time; however, It performs very poorly when playing my old RMVB videos, and it cannot display external subtitle file properly.
