Book Review: Lips Unsealed: A Memoir 9780307463494: Belinda Carlisle: Books

Amazon.com: Lips Unsealed: A Memoir 9780307463494: Belinda Carlisle: Books.  I agree with one of the Amazon reviews when they said that the stories were flat.  You didn’t get much depth here.  It also disappointed many of us who thought she was more creative than she is.  I appreciate her honesty, but it is sometimes hard accepting her decisions.

Book Review: I Killed: True Stories of the Road from Americas Top Comics…

Amazon.com: I Killed: True Stories of the Road from Americas Top Comics….  There were some funny stories in this book.  I liked the one about Sam Kinson on page 176.  Many of the stories were from comics that I didn’t recognize but it must be hard getting all A list talent to respond to a memoir like that.

Book Review: Measuring the Immeasurable – The scientific case for spirituality

This is a great introductory text to the ideas and research occurring in many fields.  While at times it was a bit heavy with references and perhaps geared toward a more professional audience at times, the many authors make this work accessible to many types of people.  You can read the positive Amazon reviews here.  It mentions epigenetic in several essays which I was previously unfamiliar with.
