Chrome, Internet Explorer Lead Browser Speed Tests. This is an interesting result. Normally with Apple things get faster as the OS updates, but in this case it appears that the Chrome team is making things slightly slower. Honestly I have used all of those versions and the browser is rarely the bottleneck slowing things down.

FWIW, there’s a com.apple.LaunchServices.plist in my user’s Preferences folder.
Launch the Terminal app in /Applications/Utilities/, copy & paste in this one-liner, hit the return key, quit Terminal, and restart:
/System/Library/Frameworks/CoreServices.framework/Versions/A/Frameworks/LaunchServices.framework/Versions/A/Support/lsregister -kill -r -domain local -domain system -domain user
OS X Lion: Deleted user account reappears; or, cannot use automatic login for a certain user account. I have never had this issue. I guess it is more common when people use Migration Assistant.
