“Like why won’t my internet banking open on the Mac yet it will open on the PC? All I can say is that it’s lucky the Mac is too heavy for me to pick it up and chuck it at the wall.”  This is a common issue that I’ve faced as well with banking sites.  They seem to use lots of ActiveX or windows proprietary programming.  I’ve had the best luck by using FF or changing the user agent string with a 3rd party utility.
