Camera basics: Using scene modes Point-and-Shoot Digital Photo Macworld.  Some good information.  It’s tempting to just use the auto mode if you have a digital camera.  The downside with that approach is that your shots will look like everyone else’s and unless you bought a very expensive camera look bad in certain situations.

I worked at a publishing company once that rented a Hasselblad for a food issue. It produced such beautiful food photos. I wish that everyone could use a camera like this.

I should also note that I learned this from one of the graphics designers and she was so thrilled.  I didn’t understand what could be so different until I started to look at the technology.  They were the next generation in so many technologies at that point when I researched it.  I have no doubt that are still market leading.
