PS3 Portal 2 to come with free PC/Mac version, cross-platform play. This would be awesome if all game companies did this. You buy a version for PS3, and you also get the game authorized for play on the PC/Mac. For families or hard-core gamers this would really score loyalty points.
Youc an’t go wrong with Calibre. It is free and comes with versions of Mac, Windows and linux. Talk about features. What a slick piece of software. ”convert between numerous formats: it will convert CBZ, CBR, CBC, CHM, EPUB, FB2, HTML, LIT, LRF, MOBI, ODT, PDF, PRC, PDB, PML, RB, RTF, TCR, and TXT to various formats including EPUB as used by the iPad. Then you will want File Replication Pro. It is compatible with any OS that is compatible with java 1.4 or greater. Starting at $500 you can have off site server backup, share files, distribute web content, and so much more. This is clearly made for the enterprise.
For a free version made for less demanding tasks you may find this adequate.
