Canon Pixma MG5220 Printer Review Macworld. This looks like another great personal/small business printer. Very affordable ink and great quality.
Canon Pixma MP495 Printer Review Macworld. The ink is more pricey than other models but a cheap price makes this a great sometimes printing machine.
Apple – Support – Discussions – Scanning with Canoscan 8400F in 10.6.4 …. Turns out that reinstalling the Canon drivers seems to fix it. Thats the fix I like to hear. A simple one.
This is from PAHU.
Hello Hans,
Sorry to read none of the suggestions helped. I now recommend you look at deleting the Canon UFR2 from your Mac and then reinstalling it. If you open Finder you can delete the following folders and files. This information is from the Canon UFR2 v2.10 Mac User Guide.
Mac HD > Library > Printers > Canon > UFR2
Mac HD > Library > Launch Agents > jp.co.canon.UFR2.BG.plist
Mac HD > Library > Printers > PPDs > Contents > Resources > en.lproj > CNTD***Z*2*.ppd.gz(where *** indicates the printer model and 2 indicates the language of driver used)
With all these files deleted and trash emptied, unplug the USB cable to the MF4370dn and restart the Mac. Then run the installer for the v2.10 driver and when it has completed, reconnect the MF4370dn USB cable and open System Preferences > Print & Fax to add the printer queue.
