In Mac OS Lion, where do you find your…: Apple Support Communities. Thanks QuickTimeKirk. I didn’t know about this trick. I have typed the path in the go to folder command box.

Switch to the Finder.

Hold down the option key while using the Go menu to expose the User/Library folder.

can\’t ssh from Lion to Snow Leopard: Apple Support Communities. So IdahoBackwoods shared this. Run this command in terminal to find out what may be blocking it. For him, it turned out to be some old junk like Excel 2008 that was blocking the port.

OSX Lion dont work with my Internet…: Apple Support Communities. Interesting that companies don’t make it easier to make their products work. I would avoid Olicard hardware just because of the poor support. Thanks robertobb.

Ok boys,

I have the official drivers of Olicard 145 for OSX LION!!!!!!!!! They work fine!!!!

To download just click here:

BlackArmor Discovery crashes with OS…: Apple Support Communities. Bad that it crashes, but good that the update was quick and fixed it. This kind of support makes me more likely to buy a Seagate NAS in the future if I needed one.

Movies purchased after ios5 upgrade…: Apple Support Communities

Movies purchased after ios5 upgrade…: Apple Support Communities. Nicely done by Apple genius Nicole. You can read the fix below.

Went to the Genius bar at the Wellington Green Apple store and spoke to Nicole. First she tried to make the itunes folder “read and write” capable – she said a lot of other permissions issues cures this type of stuff. Then when that didn’t work she looked up an article entitled “itunes repeatedly prompts to authorize computer to play itunes store purchases” under support.apple.com/kb/ts1389 – follow the fourth option to remove the sc info folder. Ta-da! it synced like a champ.

BTW – the keynote remote app on my iphone and keynote on the ipad – bluetooth is no longer supported – what! Oh well. Forgot to ask about the iphone sync hang.

Best to all

402653138: Apple Support Communities. Interesting solution from MrShark.

I have now found a solution for the error 402653138

Here is what you do:

1. Install all the updates of your apps on iPhone, in the app store of the phone, when all apps are up to date then connect your phone to your computer.

2. In iTunes go to the store then click the Purchased (new).

3. Download all apps to the computer here instead of transfer it from your iPhone.

4 Click in program section of iTunes and install all the updates listed there to the computer.

5. When this is done sync your iPhone with the computer, and check so that the computer and iPhone is in complete sync with the apps.

(If there are some apps that are stopping before finishing remove that app from your iPhone and try to sync again.)

When this is done you should be able to run the update without the error.

I hope this helps this worked for me.

updating to ios 5 error 1611 on ipad: Apple Support Communities

updating to ios 5 error 1611 on ipad: Apple Support Communities. So why not just say what the problem is? I wish Apple would make friendlier error messages. They have always hidden meaning behind numbers.

I had the same error on my iPad when trying to upgrade via a USB hub off my screen. But connecting into a USB port directly on the PC worked.

Just upgraded my 3gs to iOS5 and Music…: Apple Support Communities

Just upgraded my 3gs to iOS5 and Music…: Apple Support Communities. Interesting solution that the user found. I wonder if this was a cable issue. I once had an iPod that refused to sync and it turned out the cable was bent. A new cable fixed the issue.

ok..update..

Looks like by unchecking itunes sync music and then resyncing the whole library again it worked. It took a lot longer to sync this time then the initial sync during the install of iOS5. So I’m guessing the files weren’t really on the phone or were in the process of being transferred since i have 969 songs..

Anyway, seems to be working now…
