This is a list of 19 things. I don’t agree.  I think that there are always less technically savvy folks who won’t make the transition.  I mean we still have radio and people buying radios when cheaper or different options exist.

Apple’s IPad Bet Requires ‘Leap of Faith’ From Buyers

From Bloomberg.com. It had a quote that was surprising given all the top press from “journalists”.   “While many consumers will buy any new gadget with an Apple label, NPD found that 66 percent of consumers — and 60 percent of people who say they currently own an Apple product — “don’t foresee an iPad purchase in their future,” according to an online survey of 2,000 consumers age 18 and older. The survey was done between Feb. 24 and March 3, NPD said.”

Social Networks a Lifeline for the Chronically Ill

Social Networks and  Internet is so useful to so many people who aren’t easily able to participate with mainstream society.  Not just ill, but rural, poor and others who don’t have the resources and gifts that many of us are lucky to have.

Are you really getting what you are paying for with Broadband speeds?

Probably not.  I have seen my own connection fluctuate, and even at times go to a fraction of the speed I was paying for.  This is worse when the weather is wet in older neighborhoods.  Get more educated about it by reading here.

Probably the start of a larger trend.  Its getting hard for people to justify the cost of Windows.  I thought he had a thoughtful argument here.
