My friend went to the Apple store and on the suggestion of an Apple representative, bought a Speck case for $35. Less than 3 months later, the case started to fall apart even though it wasn’t abused.
I looked at the case at the corner was separating and starting to fray in other pieces. I know that my friend didn’t abuse the case because I saw her use it in those 3 months. She would place it inside her purse and never dropped it. She didn’t live in a cold climate and I can’t think of any reason it would fail other than just being a bad product. Has this happened to you?

I answered that Quantum computers existed but that it would need further research to find a viable alternative. I don’t think they liked the answer, but it was a real one.
