Five iMovie bugs (and how to fix them) — Alex Day Music – StumbleUpon. Many people in businesses use iMovie. I like the suggestion to use FCPX.

iTunes Store: How to enable Automatic Downloads. If you have bought an iPhone/iPad this xmas this might help you. It is a neat feature that makes it easier for everyone.

iTunes: Backing up, updating, and restoring your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch software – StumbleUpon. I haven’t ever had a problem with updating/restoring an iOS device but it might help to review this in case you do.

Trouble adding music to iTunes library or importing audio CD. I had a friend who had a problem with this the other day. I have lots of friends from Twitter who ask me to help with their problems.

iTunes Windows 7 Problems – BEX error. It is almost a requirement to use iTunes or just being practical you need a third-party utility to copy music. I used Senutil earlier and it worked great. It allowed me to copy music from an old iPod to the desktop. Now I am testing another program called iRip. It seems pretty silly that Apple makes the integration of iOS content/device so tight that you risk losing it without third-party help.

This is a fairly balanced view of the different services. I don’t trust Amazon after they disabled and deleted content off the device. Just one time of being disrespected is enough.

Just upgraded my 3gs to iOS5 and Music…: Apple Support Communities. Interesting solution that the user found. I wonder if this was a cable issue. I once had an iPod that refused to sync and it turned out the cable was bent. A new cable fixed the issue.
ok..update..
Looks like by unchecking itunes sync music and then resyncing the whole library again it worked. It took a lot longer to sync this time then the initial sync during the install of iOS5. So I’m guessing the files weren’t really on the phone or were in the process of being transferred since i have 969 songs..
Anyway, seems to be working now…

This post at the Apple Discussion forums explains how to restore your iPhoto photos. Thanks laverne’s mom.
Your question had me wondering too and so I checked my Time Machine and couldn’t see where any photos were. I then pulled out a book I got when I first got my mac ( Its called The Missing Manual. I got it used from Amazon) anyway, if you open iPhoto, go to File then Browse Backups. It will show you the photos that have been backed up and are available for recovery. I hadn’t paid much attention to that before and am glad I discovered it now, rather than when I am in a panic over a lost or misplaced photo. Hope this helps you find what you are looking for.
