These are some time-consuming and ugly steps for most people to follow. They will not feel comfortable with the optional steps which are important. In addition it doesn’t say how to remove the Dropbox from the sidebar. You have to right-click on the Dropbox name on the sidebar of the finder window and click on Remove from Sidebar.

I suspect that having this software installed, but not enabled is causing the kernel panic that I experienced this morning. Generally having two software installed at the same time that do the same function leads to problems. I am testing SugarSync and that is the only thing active when the panic occurred.
