Disk Drill protects and restores your storage media | Utilities | MacUser | Macworld. If you look in the comments you will see a discussion from the vendor about the merits of TTP vs. Disk Drill. If you are considering buying data recovery software, it helps to be clear of the features that are provided. I have used TTP and it is great software. I don’t see the average user feeling comfortable using it. It takes some knowledge and skill and probably more than the average person wants to deal with.
