This book is about the social and cultural facts of being a blogger. Those things don’t go out of style. In addition she has a ton of useful references/URL’s for more information. This book was a pleasure to read. Even though it was 192 pages it was a great balance of information that the beginning blogger should know. Many beginners books seem out of context and bare, but this gave you a good overview and idea of what blogging will mean for those interested in it. This is a must read for the blossoming blogger.
Thanks, I'll keep an eye out for it. I always worry about buying technology books like this, because the worry is that the technology will go rapidly out of date. Sounds good as a starting point though.
Yes I share the same concern. I get them at the library so I'm not really concerned about cost. If I were to buy something, it would have to be a classic.
In an hour or so I will probably finish the book I am reading now called The Social Media Survival Guide. It is everything this book is and more, and it goes from basic-advanced in some areas. It is going to get my recommendation once I finish it. Keeps you eyes out for that review.
