This is the first time I have heard this happening. I wouldn’t have suspected this. Normally the issue tends to be some networking/client end problem. Thanks 2cute2b2smart:
Turns out this POS had a corrupted driver ON the Xerox machine and the tech spent three hours finding a whitepaper on it and downloading the fix. I could not have solved this in a million years.
I didn’t really know that these complicated copying machines have hard drives and operating systems of their own. Since both of our identical machines had this issue, I wonder how many other people have given up on color printing.
Turns out it’s also only a problem when printing on heavy gloss paper.
