If anyone was affected by AVG’s bad update yesterday where the system gets stuck in an infinite loop, ignore AVG’s needlessly complicated fix. Just boot into repair with a command prompt and rename C:Program FilesAVGAVG10avgrs*.exe and C:Program FilesAVGAVG10avgchsv*.exe.
