There are two ways:

1. Connect the two computers via a network. Enable file sharing on the MBA. Open Mail on the iMac and select Import Mailbox from the File menu. Select Apple Mail and then navigate on the MBA to the /Home/Library/Mail/MailBoxes/ folder. Select it and click on the Open button. Check the boxes for all the mailboxes you wish to import then click on the Import button.

2. Copy the entire Mail folder on the MBA to a USB flash drive or an external hard drive. Transfer the drive’s connection to the iMac then copy the Mail folder to the /Home/Library/ folder on the iMac. If necessary move the existing Mail folder to the Trash. You will also need to copy the /Home/Library/Preferences/com.apple.mail.plist from the MBA to the same location on the iMac.
