Safari not blocking pop up windows fully?

Then perhaps Kappys suggestion will be helpful.  ”Some pop-ups cannot be blocked by the built-in blocker. There are third-party utilities that do a more thorough job such as Safari AdBlocker and GlimmerBlocker - VersionTracker or MacUpdate.”  I have used AdBlocker and it works pretty well.
