How do i sync Apps between iPad and iPhone?

Allan has the answer.  Thanks!  ”If you have Sync Apps selected under the Apps tab for your iPad sync preferences with iTunes, after downloading an app with your iPad, the app should be copied to your iTunes library the first time you sync your iPad with iTunes after doing so.

If you don’t have Sync Apps selected under the Apps tab for your iPad sync preferences with iTunes, with your iPad selected and without syncing, at the iTunes menu bar go to File and select Transfer Purchases From – the name of your iPad. After this, select Sync Apps under the Apps tab for your iPad sync preferences with iTunes.

After transferring the apps to your iTunes library, the apps will be available under the Apps tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes to transfer selected apps to your iPhone. Select the apps you want installed on your iPhone followed by a sync.”
