Easy to do!  Thanks William “I went to an Apple store and a “genius” helped me solve the problem in a very Mac-like way. It seems that you can drag an application from a Finder window into the list of applications in the Parental Controls window. The added application was a little hard to find at first, as it was placed at the bottom of the list.”
