Do you have a mysterious disappearing icon in your dock?

The Logitech Control Center Update strikes again.  Probably best if you just avoid this software.  Thanks Jeremy!  ”OK, mystery solved. It’s the “Logitech Control Center Update” application.

I finally got a screen capture of it when it opened up in the Dock before it disappeared. The icon has a black Logitech mouse in the lower right corner, a light green “Download” icon (arrow pointing downward to computer) in the upper left corner, and a gray-white background. “
