Turns out that a simple reset will fix it.  Thanks ChrisJ4203!  ”Try a simple reset of the phone. Many times that will fix a problem. Hold down the Home and power button together until you see the Apple logo, then release, ignoring the slide to power off screen. This will reboot the iPhone and normally clears any minor issues.”
