Installed Fedora 12 and DNS not working properly?

It has to do with the avahi-daemon.  You can turn it off with this command and it allows DNS to work properly.  Thanks wdingus! It goes without saying you should be root for this.

chkconfig –level 345 avahi-deamon off

This will keep it from starting when you restart your computer.  Restart your computer and you are free! Free!
