This thoughtful post at TechCrunch talks about this service that is in Beta on Linkedin.  This seems like a terrible idea.  When someone is anonymous where is the accountability?  More importantly it becomes like a high school popularity contest, not something truly useful.  If you want to find out bad things about a person, isn’t a background check enough?
