Getting the message “iDisk not in sync”?

Possible solution.  This worked for other people.  Thanks Dhood. “Chatted In” with the Apple MobileMe Support Team and they walked me through some steps from this Apple KnowledgeBase Article – http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1546
I had completed most of them but confirmed the steps with Apple Support.
So next step they had me perform (I saw this posted in this Apple Forum Thread) was as follows:
In System Preferences under the MobileMe/iDisk Tab “Stop” the iDisk Syncing. This will create a local copy of your files named “previous local idisk” (it is a Sparse Bundle).
Then go to the Account Tab and Sign Out
Then Sign Back In with an “Incorrect ID and Password” (she had me use Mobileme09 for both
You will get an error message but that is ok
Now sign back into your Mobile Account with your correct creditentials
Go back to the iDisk Tab and Turn On iDisk Syncing
You can open a Finder Window and watch the iDisk Synchronize your files
Once finished, close System Preferences and restart your computer.”

iDisk has been problematic for many people.  I found it so slow that it was unusable.  In comparison Google’s Documents was so fast that sometimes it uploaded the file before I realized it.  No reason to use MobileMe with Googles offerings for free.
