Upgrading to Snow Leopard – HP printers not working for some

In the Apple forum None of our HP printers work woth 10.6 some users describe HP printers not working.  The most often fix is to delete and reinstall the printer, update the printer driver, or update the printer firmware.  This is typical of an OS upgrade, but frustrating for clients.
